How to Use "ABOUT TO" in English –Learn English Through Hindi

ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
This video is about an English expression “About to” which is always used in our daily life.
In Hindi sentences end with “Ne wala hun, Ne wali hun, Ne wale hain, Ne wala tha, Ne wali thi, Ne wale the.

STRUCTURE:
POSITIVE SENTENCE
[Sub + am/is/are/was/were + about to + verb1st + Obj]
Examples:
Main khana khane wala hun.
👉I am about to eat food.
Wah bazaar jane wali hai.
👉She is about to go to market.
Main kapde dhone wala tha.
👉I was about to wash clothes.

NEGATIVE SENTENCE
[Sub + am/is/are/was/were + not + about to + verb1st + Obj]
Examples:
Maine bazaar nahi jane wala hun.
👉I am not about to go to market.
Kal main apse nahi milne wala tha.
👉I was not about to meet you yesterday.

INTERROGATIVE SENTENCE
[Am/is/are/was/were + sub + about to + verb1st + Obj?]
Examples:
Kya aap bazaar jane wale hain?
👉Are you about to go to market?
Kya wah nahane wali hai?
👉Is she about to take a bath?
Kya aap sone wale the?
👉Were you about to sleep?
Aap kahan jane wale the?
👉Where were you about to go?

HOW TO PRACTICE AT HOME✍️
You should write down a lot of sentences in Hindi or your own language and try to translate those sentences using the above said structure. Once you master translating, try to speak out the sentences then only you can be fluent.
